If you have been, thanks for keeping up with our live mix.

"Harvest Moon" by Neil Young from the album Unplugged {mp3} [BUY]

No love is stronger than the love that is able to stand up through time and all of our fucked up ridiculous experiences. Neil Young was lucky enough to find this love and write one of most gorgeous songs on the subject. Not that the lyrics aren't superb, but it's his quivering delivery that brings the smile to my face every time. Hail hail Neil.

"Yellow Ledbetter" by Eddie Vedder & Mike McCready live at The Tibetan Freedom Concert 1997 {mp3} [BUY]

In my opinion this "jam" or "improv" is at it's best with this version. Pure vocals and guitar with lyrics mostly built on the spot. I've always felt it was a terrific goodbye song in the way that it seems to be recycling memories as a person puts together the equation of where they've been and where they're going. I'm not sure how this even makes sense but McCready's guitar line actually reminds of the feeling you have when you're waving goodbye to someone you love.
