Hey folks! I'm on my way out the door to do some Saturday afternoon errands around Ben-town. You know, the type of shit that I would probably dread doing if it wasn't sunny and Saturday, but as it stands I am kinda looking forward to. Haircut, dry cleaner, groceries...you know the type. I very recently heard these dudes for the first time. African influenced indie band from...you guessed it, New York. I like them so far. I'll let you know a final opinion later.

Plus Ones by Okkervil River from The Stage Names {mp3} [BUY]
This one has been all over the one radio station here that rules. Pretty damn catchy if nothing else (referential too!).

Speaking of Okkervil River, the band's website has a free album available for download. Its called "Golden Opportunity Mixtape". It is a cover album with tracks recorded throughout their 2006-2007 tour. Its good and its free. Click Here to get it. Free.
