So Many Squares Where You Can Go.

Let's just call this the "damn, i am fu!#$'kin' up" segment for the week where I look back at two recent records that deserved a bit more attention than I initially gave them.

Back in December Rivers released his first solo album of sorts in the form of a collection of demos from the past 15 years. Jumping all over the place Alone has it's moments where you can literally hear Rivers jumping in and out of every form of music he's immersed himself into. Read this interesting interview where Cuomo actually appears to be the exact opposite of the pyscho some have made him out to be.

Holy Sh!*!t why didn't someone tell me this record was that good! I just honestly believed that nothing could really come close to the first effort...aka...I f*cked up. The first 5 tracks alone are serene in both their approach and lasting effect. Give this record a hefty spin if you're as behind as I am. I bought it on vinyl this past weekend and it hasn't left the turn table since.
