This post is for my old friends Sara and Lisa (who i haven't seen in years).
Back in the old college days these two lovely ladies were "really into" a little band called Phantom Planet. Back before the band's hit California ever really took off I heard about and often rocked to the group that had Jason Schwartzman as their drummer. Celebrity status aside I always believed the boys wrote some bright and conscientious pop songs that more often than not just plain rocked. Flash forward to 2008 and the group has slimmed down a bit yet lost none of what made them exciting in the first place. After a 3 year wait "Raise The Dead" arrives on April 15th.
