Owen (Mike Kinsella) gave us a sneak peek at his new album art as well as a new track called 'The Only Child of Aergia' over at his myspace. 'New Leaves' should be out sometime in September.

I'm loving this flawless 'Ohio' cover by Olentangy John. Olentangy John is John Atzberger and also plays under the name "Indianola" with buddy Patrick Bourland. (Catch all of those Columbus references?) You can pick up Indianola's ep on Trailer Fire Records which soon will release the Olentangy John debut on vinyl early July.

We got lucky and managed to get tix to see Jenny Lewis at the sold out WEX show a few weeks ago. I've seen rilo kiley a bunch of times but this was my first time seeing Jenny solo. Her band was sensational, the crowd loved it, and she even treated us to a couple new tracks. One being 'Big Wave' which she described as a song about California & Lindsay Lohan, and this track called 'Just Like Zeus'.
